Abstract (English):
Event and gastronomic tourism in Russia has high potential and gives a lot of possibilities for tourists. The organizational and economic mechanism of organization of event - gastronomic tourism plays an important role in development of the whole tourism industry in the region. It is explained by the following: certain gastronomic events in life and history of the region can quite be para- mount travel motive; development of event-gastronomic tourism in the region allows receiving certain benefits at the regional level. With sustainable development and if there is a correct strategy for promoting event-gastronomic tourism, the tourist product including event-gastronomic events, will undoubtedly take its niche as domestic tourist product. The authors proposes the methodology of the organizational and technological process of forming the conditions for the event-gastronomic tourism development in the region. It is a cyclic process aimed at building an effective complex of event-gastronomic tourism development in the region, identifying the necessary conditions for its implementation, financing of activity in event-gastronomic tourism by regional authorities. Each tourism region has its own specifics of organizing the tourism infrastructure depending on a type of tourism developed in the territory. Nevertheless, infrastructure of the tourist region is formed proceeding from observance of the list of the typical spatial zones which are the common virtually for all tourist centers regardless of their specialization. Article is executed within the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation for the state support of young Russian candidates of science ("Development of Competitive Advantages of Tourism to Increase the Efficiency of Regional Economy" (MK-8062.2016.6).
